It's Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend in Boston! There are fun family activities for everyone in and around the city. (You'll find the holiday is still called Columbus Day in some communities.) Celebrate indigenous culture with a visit to the Reflection Room or a StoryWalk at the Discovery Museums. Your STEM-loving kids will enjoy the Cambridge Science Festival or Harvard's dinosaur exhibit on National Fossil Day, also in Cambridge. Young artists will flock to Concord's Art Ramble, while little musicians can explore Songs of Japan, a free class in Somerville.

And don't miss your chance to win! Mommy Poppins is sponsoring a pretty amazing giveaway: The grand-prize winner will get a 2 night all-inclusive trip for 2 adults and 2 children (including airfare from the continental US, food, & beverages) to Velas Vallarta family resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
