At this annual Christmas party in Washington Market park, the Big, Red-Suited Guest of Honor rides into the park in style: sometimes by pedicab, sometimes peddled by an oversized elf.

It's a treat for kids and a truly funny moment for parents. Santa then takes requests from children on his throne in the park gazebo.

Consider supporting a local children’s organization (to be named) and bring an unwrapped gift to the party.

Carols are performed while homemade cookies and hot apple cider keep everyone feeling warm and jolly.
