Festival of Eid 2023
Celebrate and learn through food, performances, artist demonstrations, activities, and games at the fifth annual Eid Festival.
Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, is an occasion of peace, joy, and festivity. People visit friends and family, give gifts, and eat sweets and delicious food.
All are welcome to join the Eid celebration. Start outside on the festival lawn by eating at food trucks and stalls, watching music and dance performances, and playing games. Receive a beautiful henna design and shop at the outdoor bazaar of local artists and small business owners, then head inside to see an ebru demonstration, try your hand at calligraphy, and make arts and crafts mementos. Plus, enjoy free admission to the exhibition on view, Summoning Memories: Art Beyond Chinese Traditions.
This event is FREE and open to the public; RSVPs are requested for planning purposes. Food and drink will be available for sale.
