If you still haven’t done the whole Easter Bunny thing, there are plenty of festive holiday events happening in NJ this weekend. Take part in the Bunny Chase at Terhune Orchards; stuff your basket at the 10,000 Easter Egg Hunt at Allaire Village, or do Brunch with the Bunny at Camden Children’s Garden. Spring Fun Days & Easter Egg Hunt (Chester, NJ)
Alstede Farms (a Mommy Poppins favorite!) is bursting with family fun all year round and Easter is no exception. Take a hay wagon ride to see baby animals, meet the Easter Bunny and go on an egg hunt. And if that wasn’t enough, you can saddle up for a pony ride, climb on the giant hay pyramid or scarf down some delicious pie from the farm store.
Bunny Chase (Princeton, NJ)
Celebrate the arrival of spring at Terhune Orchards' Bunny Chase on Easter weekend. Follow the treasure hunt clues and find a spring surprise at the end of the hunt! A farm food tent will be filled with tasty treats and the wine tasting room will be open for grownups too!
Sesame Street Live! “Can’t Stop Singing” (New Brunswick, NJ)
Celebrate the holiday weekend with a lively show at the State Theatre of NJ about everyone’s favorite monsters. When Elmo casts a spell with Abby Cadabby’s magic wand, there’s something in the air - and Sesame Street becomes an all-singing, all-dancing musical montage! Children will learn all about the power of music during this interactive, energetic performance.

10,000 Easter Egg Hunt (Farmingdale, NJ)
Head to Allaire Village this Saturday and join the hunt for 10,000 hidden eggs with the Easter Bunny himself! Then take part in some old-fashioned Easter fun with a bonnet contest, arts & crafts, face painting and open hearth cooking.
Earth Day Trail Clean Up (Tenafly, NJ)
Teens and their parents can do their part on Earth Day at Tenafly Nature Center with a yearly trail clean up. Pick an outdoor project and roll your sleeves up to volunteer – activities include storm clean up, trail maintenance, weed and liter removal.
Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch (Camden, NJ)
Celebrate Easter at the beautiful Camden Children’s Garden! First, enjoy a brunch buffet with the Easter Bunny (catered by the delicious Tortilla Press) before letting the kiddos loose to collect eggs. Afterwards, take a photo with the bunny, ride the garden carousel or keep busy with spring crafts.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt (Union, NJ)
Families can explore the historic grounds of Liberty Hall in search of Easter eggs filled with delicious treats. A surprise visit from the Easter Bunny caps off the event – and parents can get in those photos just in time for the holiday.

Fish Feeding Frenzy (Jersey City, NJ)
Check out “Our Hudson Home” exhibit at Liberty Science Center to learn a little bit about the history of the Hudson River. Then watch as the Animal Husbandry experts feed the fish; they're big and they're hungry! And don’t forget to explore some of the LSC’s other great exhibits, like Block Party and Eat or Be Eaten.
Family Woodland Walk (Ringwood, NJ)
NJ Botanical Gardens invites you to pack up the kids (and the grandparents!) and come on a Family Woodland Hike. Depending on the weather, it may include a stroll along the Garden's charming woodland and meadow paths, with steppingstone bridges to navigate or an easy trip to the top of Mount Defiance for a spectacular view of the Ramapo Mountains.
