Citadel Holiday Tree Lighting
The 21st annual Citadel Holiday Tree Lighting event includes a free holiday concert that begins at 5pm.
More than 18,000 multicolored lights light up California’s tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree, a majestic 115-foot white fir from Mt. Shasta.
American Idol’s J Rand hosts the event, with performances by Good NEWZ Girls, FUTUREPOP, and Orange County School of the Arts’ Montage.
Other holiday fun throughout the season includes photo ops, the Snowy Nights snow show at Center Court every hour on the hour from 5pm. to 8pm, Citadel Outlets’ Santa Care program on December 4 and 11 from 9am to 12noon., the CHiPs for Kids Annual Holiday Toy Drive November 26 through December 18, Fridays through Sundays and special appearances by Santa Claus. Old Saint Nick is on-site on weekends through December 15, then daily from December 16 through December 23 from 11am to 8pm.
