During this AdvoKids workshop at the Long Island Children's Museum, visitors will learn  the difficulties those who are left-handed often experience in a world made for right-handed people.

Visitors will learn about different tools that have been made for left-handed people, then make a portrait of their left hand to celebrate the day. This is a drop-in program; it takes approximately 10 minutes and is yours to keep.

AdvoKids is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience and empathy.
