Holiday Festival at The Ward Melville Heritage Organization
The Ward Melville Heritage Organization (WMHO)’s Annual Holiday Festival will return on Sunday, December 4 with Santa, music, performances, a petting zoo, displays, activities and more.
Children can write letters to Santa and begin mailing them at the Stony Brook Post Office in the red “Mail for Santa” mailbox on November 23. Letters can be mailed to Santa through the season.
At 2pm, Santa will be arriving to meet the children who are waiting for him on an antique firetruck. You don’t want to miss the annual Legends & Spies Puppet Procession which will begin at 2:15pm in front of the Stony Brook Fire Department and parade through Stony Brook Village, accompanied by the Ward Melville High School Marching Band. The procession will be followed by a performance by Roseland Dance Studio.
At 5:30pm, Santa will arrive on a holiday float, and with some children from the community, will light the holiday tree on the Village Green, followed by the Bethel AME Choir performing.
