Slip on your “sock skates” and take a spin on the Long Island Children's Museum's indoor rink, made from a high-tech synthetic polymer surface that lets kids slide around without blades.

After skating, explore the Snowflake Village! Become a baker in the holiday sweet shop, step inside a giant snowman and serve up some hot cocoa, take a turn in the rink “ticket booth” and “warm up” around the “fire” pit as the whole family enjoys cozy winter fun.

The exhibit is included in regular admission and open during museum hours.
