The Garvies Point Museum & Preserve hosts a jam-packed schedule of family-friendly fun during spring break, with a variety of programs like nature walks, nature-inspired crafts, bird-watching expeditions, wildlife explorations, and more.

Schedule: 

Saturday, April 8: 11am, 1pm and 3pm. CampCraft 101. Film: All About Mammals

Tuesday, April 11: 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Pond Pondering. Craft: Magic Nature Wand. Film: All About Amphibians.

Wednesday, April 12: 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Backyard Birds. Craft Nature Faces Craft. Film: All About Birds. 

Thursday, April 13: 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Beach Ecology & Scavenger Hunt. Craft: Sand and Shell Art. Film: All About Food Chains.

Friday, April 14: 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Go Exteme: Erosion. Craft: DIY Kaleidoscope. Film: Billy Nye: the Science Guy: Erosion.

Friday, April 15: 11am, 1pm and 3pm: Nature's Palette: Spring Color Walk. Craft: Earth Day Terrarium (+$8 fee). Film: All About Forest Ecosystems.
