Looking for the best things to do on Long Island this Mother's Day weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list.

Hip hip hooray, it's Mother's Day! Drop that load of laundry and start dropping hints about your favorite Mother's Day brunch spot. Moms are in the spotlight at the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery, Harbes Family Farm, the Long Island Aquarium and the Long Island Game Farm. 

Carriage tours, pony rides, pottery, and more are on the docket at the Spring Farm Festival hosted by the Smithtown Historical Society. Or get all warm and fuzzy with some teensy animals at the Suffolk County Farm during Baby Animal Day.
