There are several levels to Kamp Kierson. Kids with little to no skills only take one riding lesson a day; the rest of the time is filled with the “experience” of horse camp—the early part of the day starts with meeting up with friends at the camp room home base, getting their horse assignments and bringing their animal in from pasture, and learning how to care for them. After riding lessons, kids have lunch and do fun camp activities like games and arts and crafts, but with an “equestrian” theme.
