The parks of Monmouth County honor Earth Day with nature programs throughout the day. Most activities are first-come, first-serve with the exception of fishing.

Activities:

  • Introduction to Saltwater Fishing at Bayshore Waterfront Park 10:30 a.m
  • Explore a Freshwater Pond at Freneau Woods Park 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.
  • Invasive Plant Removal at Huber Woods Environmental Center 9-11 a.m. & 1-3 p.m.
  • Nature Walks at Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center 10 a.m., 12 p.m. & 2 p.m.
  • Beachcombing & Cleanup at Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park 10 a.m., 12 p.m. & 2 p.m.
  • Nature on the Move at Shark River Park 1-4 p.m.
  • Bird Walks at Manasquan River Greenway 7 a.m. & 9 a.m.
