Hammarskjold Plaza Tree & Menorah Lighting with Santa and Carolers
Santa and carolers lead kids in a magical count-down to officially light the Holiday Tree and Menorah in Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (DHP). Clad in Victorian costumes, the 'Manhattan Holiday Carolers' perform a capella harmonies, spreading joy with traditional favorites plus a few sing-along tunes.
A community member joins the celebration, playing the oud (a short-neck lute-type instrument) and singing a Hanukkah-inspired song in Turkish.
Let your light shine with a FREE safe-flame LED candle. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies at the hospitality tent.
