MLK National Day of Service
On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day each year, all Americans are encouraged to step up to make communities more equitable and take action to create the Beloved Community of Dr. King’s dream. Examples include cleaning up a public space, mentoring a young person, or helping those who are food insecure.
On Monday, Jan. 16, and the days surrounding, AmeriCorps invites you to:
- engage with your community and create constructive action;
- act on Dr. King’s legacy of social justice and equity; and
- recommit by volunteering to serve others.
