FIAF hosts a day filled with fun activities focusing on "la fete" (celebration). Stop by for a giant family party and enjoy the most wonderful aspects of celebrations: dancing, music, and time spent together.

Meet in the Haskell Library for a fun, interactive story hour! Keeping with the la fête theme, families discover the magical world of dance, music, and celebration with books by French and English-speaking authors.
Broken Box Mime Theater

Cue the invisible confetti! In homage to the great French mimes, Broken Box remixes the art form with modern sensibilities and a commitment to accessibility and inclusion. Every body is unique, and every body is worthy of a celebration! What does celebration mean to you?
The Anonymous Project Gallery Tour

Participate in a mini tour of FIAF’s exhibition, Homecoming. Part of The Anonymous Project, this exhibition celebrates family, parties, and special occasions! Younger audiences are invited to take a closer look at the labyrinth of photos. Then, following the tour, create your own photo collage from vintage photographs and postcards! Tours will begin every 30 minutes in the FIAF gallery.

Dance away the afternoon with a DJ set of French party classics! FIAF’s Tinker auditorium transforms into the trendiest boîte on the Upper East Side for this lively midday celebration. Bring the whole family and grab a mocktail – c’est la fête!
