Kick back and relax while listening to live music from Village favorites including Richard Barone, Coyote & Crow, The Angry Kickin’ Feet and Lawrence Rush & Underground Harmony Band.

Watch the colorful sights and sounds of Greenwich Village pass by while dining outside as Eighth Street restaurants and bars throw open their doors. Enjoy over a dozen Eighth Street takeout options at the pop-up seating areas dotted along the block. Then, visit the many Eighth Street lifestyle retailers who have special Positively 8th Street in-store activities and offers.

Creative minds of all ages can engage in arts and crafts workshops with Textile Arts Center and sensory open play, collaborative collages and wall hangings with Scribble Art Workshop. Learn life drawing with the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture and even create your very own Washington Square Arch mobile! Kids will love the pop-up playground created by play:ground, the legendary Governors Island adventure playground!

Face painting and caricature drawing, and classic outdoor games and activities, await as well.

There will also be some very special four-legged friends seeking new homes and families in the Village, with the Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) Pet Adoption Unit.
