Beyond The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, Rockefeller has turned his creative genius toward other iconic childhood characters in productions of Winnie the Pooh, Paddington Gets in a Jam,  and Sesame Street: The Musical, but returns to Carle's iconic works for his latest turn on stage.

Fans of Carle's books will be pleased to hear Rockefeller's productions follow the stories word-for-word and the iconic Caterpillar returns for a starring role. Beyond the lovable leaf muncher, Rockefeller puppeteer's eye brings three other Carle stories to life on stage, including From Head to Toe, The Very Quiet Cricket, and Little Cloud.

"I'm thrilled to bring three Eric Carle stories to the stage for the very first time, and in an excitingly interactive way," says Rockefeller. "The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show has been seen by over 3 million children across the globe these past eight years, and we're excited to usher in even more young theatregoers with The Eric Carle Story Show—and introduce everyone to some fabulous new puppets along the way."

To bring these iconic stories to life, the production utilizes 45 handcrafted puppets and a cast of expertly skilled puppeteers. Runtime is a manageable for the sippy-cup set 55 minutes. Set at Theater 555, the production is an intimate experience and the setup ensures even little fans have a perfect view of the action on stage. Showtimes are held on Sunday mornings and twice on Mondays and tickets are on sale now and cost $25, plus fees. Children ages 12 months and younger do not need their own seat; lap tickets can be purchased at the box office on the day of for $5. 

One note if traveling with tots: There is limited, unsupervised stroller storage available, so leave it at home if at all possible.
