All are slated to open in January 2017 with initial preschool classes limited to a pre-2s' program (ages 18 months - 23 months), and a 2s' session for 2-3-year-olds. Other NY Preschool locations around the city also offer 3-year-old and 4-year-old programs and NYC universal pre-K. Registration for the new locations opens in the fall of 2016.

The NY Preschool embraces the philosophy that "children learn best through meaningful play" and programs feature a diverse educational experience. Kids will dabble in artistic subjects, but also social studies, math, sports, creative movement, chess, and even cooking, depending on the age group. The school caps class size at 18 kids with three to four teachers in the classroom. It is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and licensed by the NYC Departments of Health and Education.

NY Kids Club was founded in 2001 by Pam Wolf, a mom to four children who said in a statement that she wanted to create a "high-quality preschool education" that builds on a child's natural strengths. "We’re excited to introduce our unique, industry-leading programs to these wonderful communities," she said.

The organization previously announced it will open a second Upper East Side gym, classes, and preschool later this summer at 345 East 94th Street.
