Daily magic and mind-reading shows are on tap, and kids can explore the extinct animal graveyard, too. What would the holiday be without a few treats? The trick-or-treat trail returns with goodies for all. Enjoy professional pumpkin-carving displays and take in the stunning jack-o-lanterns of the Pumpkin Trail. You can also search for masked animals on a "MASKerade" scavenger hunt.
Special performances include animal puppet shows and Wildlife Theater presentations at Astor Court, plus costumed stilt walkers available for socially distant photos.
Boo at the Zoo attractions run Thursdays through Sundays from Thursday, October 1, through Sunday, November 1, plus Columbus Day, Monday, October 12. Timed-entry tickets are available online.
All guests ages 3 and older are required to wear masks, and more COVID-19 protocols have been put in place. See the Know Before You Go page on the Bronx Zoo website for full details.
