The 47th annual Macy's 4th of July fireworks sparkle over the East River, in a dazzling display featuring more than 60,000 shells lighting up the night sky and launched from five barges set out between East 23rd and East 42nd Streets.

Macy’s Fireworks may be viewed from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the East River in Midtown. Five barges are positioned in the East River near Midtown East. 

The official viewing sites for this year's Macy's 4th of July fireworks include"

• The FDR Drive in Manhattan, with access points at East 42nd Street, East 34th Street, and East 20th Streets along First Avenue.
• In Queens, view the fireworks from Gantry Plaza State Park.
• In Brooklyn, viewing is available at Newtown Barge Park, Transmitter Park, or Marsha P. Johnson State Park.
