Here are 18 restaurants open on Thanksgiving in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia in 2022. Not only are all of them kid-friendly, but many even offer special pricing for kids ages 12 and under. If you see something you like, make a reservation ASAP, as spots will fill up quickly.

Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving in DC in 2022
1. Lincoln
For those who want a true Thanksgiving feast (and who doesn't?), Lincoln is providing an all-you-can-eat carving station with turkey and gravy, roast beef, and quince and mustard-glazed wild salmon, as well as endless sides such as mac and cheese, cheddar grits, collard greens, and more. Each guest can also choose one of five appetizers and four desserts. The feast costs $65 per person and $25 per child age 12 and under. Lincoln is also offering a Thanksgiving At Home menu that includes turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce, several sides, salad, biscuits, and dessert for one to 10 people to be picked up anytime between 11:30am and 7:30pm on Thanksgiving Day.
2. Farmers & Distillers
Farmers & Distillers offers a three-course prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner for $43.99 per person and $20 per child 12 and under. It includes a choice between turkey, honey-glazed spiral ham, and five other main entree options (including veggie loaf), a variety of sides, and a choice of butternut squash soup or salad for appetizer, as well as 11 options for dessert. The restaurant also offers a Heat and Eat Thanksgiving at Home menu, which includes partially cooked food that you can pick up the day before Thanksgiving and finish cooking at home.
3. Farmers Fishers Bakers
Farmers Fishers Bakers will serve the exact same Thanksgiving Day menu as its sibling restaurant, Farmers & Distillers (see above), as well as the same Heat and Eat Thanksgiving at Home menu to pick up the day before Thanksgiving and finish cooking at home. Both restaurants will also offer a Leftover Kit for Home as an add-on that includes turkey and various fixings—because who doesn't love leftovers?

4. Teddy & The Bully Bar
President Theodore Roosevelt loved simple American comfort food, and the Thanksgiving menu at his namesake, Teddy & The Bully Bar, certainly reflects that. For $72 per person and $28 per child, you'll enjoy an "all you can handle" carving station with turkey, prime rib, and wild salmon, plus endless helpings of 10 sides including mac and cheese and stuffing. Guests can also choose one of five appetizers and one of four desserts. If you'd rather stay home, Teddy's Thanksgiving At Home menu includes turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce, four sides, salad, and dessert for one to 10 people.
5. Blue Duck Tavern
If you're looking for one of the fancier restaurants open on Thanksgiving in DC, this Michelin-distinguished eatery in the Park Hyatt is offering an a la carte, three-course prepaid menu for $145 per adult and $55 per child under 12. Reservations are available for parties of one through seven.

6. 1789 Restaurant
Enjoy a three-course Thanksgiving dinner at this Georgetown restaurant for $85 per adult and $40 for children under 12. Start with a salad, rabbit roulade, or one of two other options for appetizer. For the main course, choose between five entrees including roast turkey, brioche-crusted halibut, wild striped bass, beef tenderloin, and celeariac osso bucco. Finish off the meal with pumpkin cheesecake, ice cream or sorbet, or one of several other dessert options.
7. Yardbird
This downtown restaurant is offering a special Thanksgiving menu featuring an herb-roasted turkey dinner with traditional fixings, shareable sides like biscuit stuffing and green bean casserole, pumpkin pie, and more. You can also order Thanksgiving dinner to go for two to eight people: Choose between turkey with traditional sides and fried chicken with mac and cheese and biscuits.

8. La Ferme Restaurant — Chevy Chase
This popular restaurant serves up fine French cuisine in an elegant country-farmhouse setting. For Thanksgiving, La Ferme is offering a three-course prix-fixe menu for $69 per person. Choose between six items for the first course, seven main-course entrees (options include roast turkey, New York strip loin, and butternut squash risotto with seafood), and five desserts.
9. Seasons 52 — Columbia and North Bethesda (also in McLean, VA)
All three locations of Seasons 52, which offer seasonal menus and 52 wines by the glass, are open on Thanksgiving. For $34.95 per person and $20 for kids, enjoy a Thanksgiving feast that includes turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, brioche and sage stuffing, green beans, mashed butternut squash, cranberry relish, and pumpkin pie. If you prefer to eat at home, you can order a complete Thanksgiving dinner for four to six for $195 to pick up the day before Thanksgiving, then heat up and serve it on the big day.

All of the Founding Farmers locations offer three ways to celebrate Thanksgiving. You can enjoy a three-course prix fixe dinner at the restaurant for $43.99 per person and $20 for kids 12 and under (the same menu that's offered at its sibling restaurants, Farmers & Distillers and Farmers Fishers Bakers, as described above). You can preorder that same meal, hot and ready to eat, for pickup or delivery for the same price. Or, you can order a complete, partially cooked Thanksgiving dinner for four, along with various add-ons, to pick up the day before Thanksgiving and finish cooking at home.
11. Alexandra's American Fusion — Ellicott City
Enjoy a Thanksgiving buffet at Alexandra's that includes turkey and gravy, bourbon-glazed ham, prime rib, and salmon with shrimp scampi along with 12 different sides and four desserts. The buffet, which also includes bottomless mimosas and non-alcoholic beverages, costs $54 for adults and $26 for kids ages 4-12. Children 3 and under eat free.
12. Mt. Washington Tavern — Baltimore
Mt. Washington Tavern's extensive Thanksgiving menu goes beyond the traditional turkey and sides—though you can order those, too! If you're not in the mood for turkey, you can try steak, salmon, rockfish, wild mushroom bolognese, a Chesapeake salad, a fried oyster platter, or even a "just the sides" platter of mashed potatoes, green beans, sauerkraut, and stuffing. There are a variety of fun appetizers to choose from as well, including a Bavarian pretzel board and Maryland crab soup.

13. Wildfire — McLean
Thanksgiving dinner is served family-style at Wildfire. The meal starts with two appetizers, two salads, two entrees (options include roasted turkey, cedar-planked salmon, and roast tenderloin of beef), two sides, and two desserts. The dinner costs $64.95 per person and $29.95 for kids age 12 and under. Wildfire also offers a Thanksgiving carryout menu.
14. Gadsby's Tavern — Alexandria
This historic restaurant offers four seating times on Thanksgiving: noon, 2:30pm, 5pm, and 7:30pm. The three-course menu includes a choice of peanut soup or a house salad to start, turkey and ham with all the fixings or herb-crusted rockfish filet with smashed red potatoes and veggies for the main course, and a choice of pumpkin or pecan pie for dessert. Bread and cornbread and non-alcoholic beverages are also included with the meal, which costs $64 per person and $32 per child age 12 and under. Or, enjoy a family-style meal in the 19th-century ballroom of turkey and ham with all the fixings, salad, breads, and pie for the same price.
15. Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant — Mount Vernon
This restaurant on the grounds of Mount Vernon is serving up a Thanksgiving buffet that includes turkey, honey-glazed ham, London broil, salmon, and fried chicken along with six sides, four salads, and four desserts. The meal costs $57 for adults and $20 for kids ages 6-12, while kids 5 and under eat free. Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant is also offering Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go packages for four to 10 guests.

Sfoglina offers roasted turkey in addition to its full menu on Thanksgiving.
16. Sfoglina — Arlington (also in DC; Downtown and Van Ness)
Celebrate Thanksgiving Italian-style at Michelin-starred chef Fabio Trabocchi's Sfoglina, which serves up its full menu of fresh pasta dishes, meats, seafoods, and more on the holiday. Thanksgiving specials include roasted turkey with traditional sides like stuffing and whipped potatoes, butternut squash caramelle pasta, and tartufo for dessert.
17. L'Auberge Chez Francois — Alexandria
Want to go home stuffed this Thanksgiving? Enjoy this French restaurant's traditional seven-course menu that includes a classic organic turkey with all the trimmings for $120-$130 per adult. Kids can order off a special children's menu for $75. There will be three seatings to choose from: 11:30am-1pm, 3-4:30pm, and 6-8pm.
18. Essy's Carriage House — Arlington
Essy's is serving a four-course Thanksgiving feast for only $43 per person. Start with spiced pumpkin soup followed by salad and breads, and then get turkey and all the fixings (or opt for Alaskan salmon or London broil instead). For dessert, choose chocolate cake cake or pie (pumpkin, pecan, or apple).
