Home to the "Irish Riviera," Scituate hosts a number of festivities around St. Patrick's Day, including the "St. Pat's Plunge" (aka a polar bear plunge) on the 19th.

Scituate's family-friendly parade runs down First Parish Road and along Scituate Harbor via Front Street. The grand prize in the festival's raffle is a trip to Ireland.

Parking is available at Scituate High School; shuttle busses will carry parade goers from there (and from the Greenbush MBTA commuter rail station) to the festivities.
