Yazmin was born and raised in Connecticut, spending most of her time in New Haven and Fairfield counties. She enjoys exploring the state and finding fun family-friendly things to do. She has recently become a stay-at-home mom after being a special education teacher for 7 years. She holds a bachelors and masters in education from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is married to her high school sweetheart. Together, they share a 100 year old farmhouse in Cheshire, CT with their very busy twin girls, golden retriever, and cat.
