Looking for the best things to do in Miami and South Florida this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your weekend list!

The kids are back in school in Miami, so make sure and have a fun weekend to let off that built-up school steam. If your child loves STEAM and all things coding or building, check out Lincoln Road Kids Club STEAM Session or Tech Lab: Robotics and Coding, both in Miami. Live that TGIF life with an outdoor movie at the Movies By Moonlight movie series in Fort Lauderdale. Looking for some free fun? It's July 4th weekend in Miami! With the holiday on a Tuesday, we have compiled lots of Fourth of July events to enjoy the long weekend with family. Celebrate with rides, live music, and a pie-eating contest at the Independence Day Celebration in Pembroke Pines. Spend the day celebrating America with live bands, kids zone, beach games, and activities at the 4th of July Spectacular in Fort Lauderdale. If you are near West Palm Beach, 4th on Flagler features entertainment, a kids zone, and more.

In addition this weekend, bring chairs and blankets for a free outdoor concert at Eats 'n' Beats in Parkland.
