Spring Festivals and Fairs in Westchester and the Hudson Valley

Submitted by Katherine Dhurandhar on Fri, 03/17/2023 - 6:40am

Revel in Holi: Festival of Colors in Hawthorne.

Spring festivals, fairs, and celebrations in Westchester and the Hudson Valley offer some of the best ways to get outside and celebrate the season.

Families can kick off the spring festivities by dancing and getting messy with a rainbow of colors at an outdoor Holi Festival of Colors celebration. Crafty kids will love the hands-on activities and workshops at arts and crafts festivals this spring, such as the White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival and the Woodstock-New Paltz Arts and Crafts Fair. Or, simply enjoy the natural beauty of spring at the Peekskill Cherry Blossom Festival, the Mohonk Tulip Festival, or one of the many local Earth Day celebrations. For some quirky, out-of-the-ordinary fun, you can don your best alien costume for the UFO Fair in Pine Bush, which celebrates the history of alien sightings in the village.

Be sure to check out our Guide to Spring Activities in Westchester and the Hudson Valley, and keep tabs on our Family Activity Calendar for more fun family-friendly events.
