The Maryland Cycling Classic is part of a four-day weekend of family-friendly community events. These include regional elementary school visits by athletes featuring bike and helmet safety curriculum, a community bike ride for all ages near Patterson Park on Friday evening, the Team Introduction ceremony where fans can meet the riders, the Bridges of Hope ride (a charity ride benefiting the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation) on Saturday, and an interactive health and wellness festival with food and drinks during the race on Sunday afternoon.

The second edition of the Maryland Cycling Classic presented by UnitedHealthcare is America’s top one-day professional cycling race taking place on Sunday, September 3, 2023 in Baltimore, Maryland. Featuring 16 teams of world-class athletes, including Tour de France participants, National Champions, World Champions, and Olympians from over 20 countries, the Maryland Cycling Classic takes riders on a 120.4-mile journey starting in scenic Baltimore County at Kelly Benefits Strategy headquarters (Sparks, Md.) and through a four-lap, 7+ mile circuit in Central Baltimore before finishing in the Inner Harbor area of downtown Baltimore. There are a multitude of good spots to catch the race action along the route.
