Help the Friends of Mount Vernon Trail improve the trail near the old power plant in Alexandria by removing invasive kudzu vines that are killing nearby trees and constantly growing over the trail.

Volunteers should wear long pants and long sleeves and bring their own water, gloves, and pruning shears. 

The work area is on the Mount Vernon Trail just north of Old Town. See the picture for walking directions from the nearest address.
