Best Spraygrounds and Splash Pads for Atlanta Families
1. Alpharetta City Center Fountain — Alpharetta
This free fountain sits next to a large green space in Alpharetta's City Center. Kids can run across the green and then cool off in the fountain, while parents sit on chairs and benches. Bonus: Kilwins chocolate shop is nearby.
Head to City Springs City Green for a romp through the sprinklers.
2. City Springs City Green - Sandy Springs
City Green, located at Sandy Springs' city center, features family-friendly, outdoor elements, including a free splash pad, interactive fountain open for kid play, and a water wall. City Green also hosts awesome festivals, outdoor concerts, and a farmers market throughout the year.
3. Center Hill Sprayground — West Atlanta
Kids will love this free sprayground, where the water erupts from the ground as well as bench-like structures. Plus, kids can run through water tunnels.
4. D.H. Stanton Splash Pad — Southeast Atlanta
About 1.5 miles south of Zoo Atlanta, this free splash pad sits right in the middle of D.H. Stanton Park. Kids enjoy water cannons and a rainbow tunnel. Tip: Visit on a weekday since weekends are often packed.
5. Duluth Town Green Fountain — Duluth
Kids can frolic for free at this fountain, the centerpiece of Duluth's town green. With a massive spout shooting water two stories in the air and smaller spouts surrounding it, the fountain has something for everyone.

6. East Roswell Sprayground — Roswell
The City of Roswell boasts two spraygrounds—Riverside Park (mentioned below) and this one located in East Roswell Park off Fouts Road. With lots of colorful pole structures spraying water, kids get soaked head to toe. Both residents and non-residents pay $2.
7. Fountain of Rings at Centennial Olympic Park - Downtown
In the heart of downtown, adjacent to World of Coca-Cola and Georgia Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park delights visitors with a free splashpad in the shape of the Olympic rings. Over 200 jets blast cool water to the delight of kids. The 21-acre park also boasts a playground, green space, visitor center, and amphitheater.
8. Historic Fourth Ward Park Splash Pad — Old Fourth Ward
Located in Historic Fourth Ward Park (perfectly situated near a large shade canopy), this free splash pad gets kids drenched with water coming from every which way. Tip: Park at 664 Angier Ave. NE to be closest to the splash pad.
9. Lillian Webb Park Splash Pad — Norcross
Kids can cool off at this free splash pad, while parents socialize in adjacent shaded pavilions. Parents will appreciate the terraced pools of water cascading down steps in front of the spray ground —kids will most likely be too busy splashing to notice.

10. Piedmont Park Legacy Fountain - Midtown
The jewel of Midtown, Piedmont Park always has something going on in the spring and summer. Bring the kids to the Legacy Fountain, which reaches up to 30 feet in the air with LED-lighting configurations, and of course, the free splash pad. Restrooms and picnic tables are located nearby.

11. Perkerson Park Splash Pad — South Fulton
Just off the Atlanta BeltLine on the south side, families enjoy Perkerson Park's free splash pad from May to October. Bonus: Huge oak trees keep the park shaded during scorching Atlanta summers.
12. Plaza Fountain at The Battery—Northwest Atlanta
Families who attend a Braves game or just grab a bite at one of the restaurants at The Battery Atlanta can cool off at the plaza fountain. Located near the green space (perfect for kids to run around and burn off energy), this fountain even lights up at night.

Suwanee's Big Splash, located in Town Center Park, is one of Gwinnett's largest interactive fountains. With 43 jets and 1,400 gallons of recycled water per minute, kids can spread out and splash for hours of free fun.

15. Swift-Cantrell Park Splash Pad - Kennesaw
For just $3 (ages 2 and under are free), kids can romp around this 3,200-square-foot splash pad complete with geysers and other cool water play elements. If the kids aren't too exhausted, stop by the Swift-Cantrell playground and skatepark.
16. Two Bridges Park Splash Pad - Dunwoody
Check out Dunwoody's first splash pad that just opened in 2023. The new Two Bridges Park features a free splash pad, an 8,000 ADA-compliant playground, and walking paths connecting to the multi-use Dunwoody Trailway.
