As the city gears up for the Holiday Season, there are plenty of fun things to do in November in Houston with kids.

November in Houston highlights include City celebrations like the annual Veterans Day Celebration and the famed Thanksgiving Day Parade.  You can also enjoy the fall weather at the Texas Renaissance Festival, experience the food and art of Asia at the Night Market, or attend the Lighting of the Doves Festival, which is a long-standing tradition that signifies the start of the holiday season in the community.

A great way to give back this season would be to attend Family Philanthropy Day, an annual volunteer event for ages 5+ to participate and learn about a specific issue area affecting the Greater Houston community.
