Heal the Bay Aquarium at Santa Monica Pier holds its annual Halloween and Día de los Muertos celebration all weekend, with spooky stories, holiday crafts, animal presentations, and mad science experiments.

On Sunday the Aquarium is also the starting point for the Pier's annual Halloween Costume Parade, with trick-or-treating stops at participating Pier businesses.

Both days feature Día de los Muertos crafts; add a memento of a loved one to the Día de los Muertos ofrenda.

Saturday schedule:
1pm & 3pm: Sea Star Feeding
2pm: Spooktacular Story Time

Sunday schedule:
1pm & 3pm: Shark Feeding Presentation
2pm: Santa Monica Pier Trick-or-Treat Costume Parade

Parking prices for all day beach lots vary; two hours of free parking is available in the city's public lots on 2nd Street.
