Pasadena's museum honoring all things Asian opens its doors for free on the second Sunday of every month. September's event celebrates Hawai'i

Guests can learn the art of lei making, enjoy interactive Hula performances, a special object viewing of tapa from the permanent collection, and explore a historical timeline of the history of Hawai’i created by the USC Hawai’i Club.

Space is limited for the performances and object viewing. Sign-ups are the day of the event on a first come, first served basis. 

Other activities include a coloring station and storytime for little ones.

Free admission all day.
