Purim Carnival (Tarzana)
- see all dates
Temple Judea's annual Purim Carnival returns in 2023 with two days stacked with fun. Temple Judea hosts the biggest Purim Carnival in the Valley, at the corner of Lindley Avenue and Ventura, with plenty of room for dancing in the street. The area becomes a mini-Disneyland with rides.
On Sunday, the carnival will start with a performance of Megillah Rouge! A TK Purim Shpiel, followed by the carnival from 11am to 3pm. On Monday, the fun continues with a Purim fiesta with megillah, margaritas, and music.
Details haven't been announced, but attractions at the carnival generally include a zip line, a Ferris wheel, a giant slide, a laser maze, and a rock wall, as well as huge inflatables and a KidZone for younger kids.
The annual event raises thousands of dollars for scholarships. Tickets and wristbands can be purchased in advance with a discount, to save time waiting in line.
