Lord, what fools these mortals be! But not so foolish as they would miss the final weekend of A Midsummer Night's Dream in Griffith Park.
The first play this summer is Julius Caesar. In August the mood lightens with A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Julius Caesar runs from July 5 - July 30
A Midsummer Night’s Dream plays August 9 through September 3.
As for location: the production returns its regular spot at the Old LA Zoo Picnic Area, welcoming audiences back to the large, open, grassy lawn for performances all summer long. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The area closest to the stage is reserved for blankets only, while a little farther back, guests can bring low-seat beach chairs.
Registration is not required, though it is appreciated!
Guests can have a reserved seat waiting for them as a thank you for a $60 donation. Reserved seats are in a special elevated section with a great view of the stage.
