Ghost of Christmas Past: South Coast Rep returns with its annual production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Ebenezer Scrooge says "Bah, humbug!" several times, and they all have a happy Christmas in the end.
The performance runs for two hours, with one 15-minute interval.
There is an ASL-interpreted performance on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:30 pm. A post-show discussion with the artistic director is held after the December 12 show.
No children under age six will be admitted to A Christmas Carol. Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket, sit in a seat and be able to sit quietly through the performance. A Christmas Carol contains smoke and fog effects.
All patrons, artists, staff and volunteers attending performances must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the date of their visit. Those under age 12, anyone who is not fully vaccinated and anyone without proof of full vaccination must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 3 calendar days prior to entering the theatre.
