Alhambra celebrates Lunar New Year with an annual festival.
The free, multi-block festival is held on Main Street from Garfield to 2nd Street, with two stages of entertainment and more than 100 booths providing giveaways and activities.
Performance highlights include a lion dance, calligraphy instruction, and cultural dances. The amazing Candy Man sculpts unique animals, including dragons, live on stage.
New this year is a dedicated Culinary Stage, where chefs demonstrate traditional dishes from across Asia, with samples available for attendees. Also new is the Wellness Pavilion, where attendees can get complimentary tests and information to increase their health and longevity in the new year.
