Historical Venice Cinco de Mayo Parade/Festival 2023
Venice's Historic Cinco de Mayo Parade and Festival celebrates Mexican American Heritage and the city’s cultural diversity.
The event is free and family-friendly.
The parade blends traditional Mexican cultural performances with Mexican American innovations including classic cars, traditional folklorico dancers, Aztec dancers, floats, and a mariachi band.
The parade ends and transitions into a festival at Oakwood Park featuring food vendors, pia piñata, face painting, jumpers, Children’s arts and crafts, prizes/raffles, Informational booths, and authentic Mexican food. No canopies are permitted.
The parade route begins at 10am at Lincoln and California; spectators generally line up along Lincoln from California to Rose, where the parade turns west (passing conveniently in front of La Cabaña restaurant) before heading back down 7th to the park again for the day-long festival.
