LA Cancer Challenge 5K Walk/Run
The 25th Annual LA Cancer Challenge 5K Walk/Run is the signature fundraising event of the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. The LACC brings the cancer community together to shine a light on this disease and honor loved ones.
The event is held on the beautiful campus of UCLA, where much of the foundation’s research is conducted.
Adult registration includes a long sleeve T-shirt, bib, finishers medal, chip-timed event (optional), and a 25th anniversary commemorative bag. Kid's registration includes a youth T-shirt, bib, and a kids medal.
This Halloween-themed fitness event that includes a Fit Family Expo, Halloween festivities and activity tents, course entertainment and more. The LACC offers kids of all ages a magical and whimsical experience with the Candy Land Kids Zone with life-size décor including colorful lollipops and gum drops as well as fun Halloween activities including a Candy Land Moonbounce, face painting and arts and crafts. An Adult Costume Contest and Kids Costume Parade are additional Halloween activities.
Registration is $45 for adults and $25 for youth 11 and under - the Fit Family Expo is free.
Since 1998, the LA Cancer Challeng has raised nearly $10 million for pancreatic cancer research. Its goal to unite generations, young and old, through physical fitness to create public awareness and raise much-needed funds for pancreatic cancer research.
