After a two-year hiatus, Santa Monica Place’s Lunar New Year celebration returns with traditional Chinese lion dance performances, and balloon and dough artists.

Visitors can hang their wishes for prosperity and renewal for the new year on cherry blossom Wishing Trees. Overhead red and gold lanterns adorn Center Plaza; red envelopes with special deals from participating shops and restaurants are provided to those in attendance.
