The Columbia Memorial Space Center invites families to a fun-filled day of rocketing, with interactive exhibits, rocket flying fun, and more. The Space Center offers free admission all day.
Interactive STEM activities include rocket assembling & decorating, pitsco/straw rockets, water & air rockets, and stomp rockets.
In addition, there are on-site exhibitions from some really out there organizations, including:
- ISS Above
- Southern California Rocketry Association
- Aerojet Rocketdyne
- US Space Force
- ABL Space Systems
- Downey Amateur Radio Club
- Associated Radio Amateurs of Long Beach
