Sierra Madre's 4th of July festivities are a 3-day affair.  

Festivities start on Sunday, July 2 with a Family Movie in the Park screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 in Memorial Park starting at 7:45 pm.

On Monday, July 3, there's an evening picnic in Memorial Park from 5:30  to 10pm. Highlights include a concert by Groovy Lemon Pie, bubble wrap fireworks, 
non-profit booths, kids activities, food trucks, and more.

Activities on the morning of the 4th include a 5k Fun Run starting at 7am, a Woman’s Club Pre-Parade Community Open House with continental breakfast starting at 8am, and a parade starting at 10am. 

 

Participants in the parade include community members, local businesses, classic cars, a marching band, kids on their decorated bikes, and more. The Grand Marshall is local teacher Laura Palmer.
