Tokyo City Cup and Japan Family Day 2022
Japan Family Day at Santa Anita Park was started as a way to introduce Japanese traditional culture and to interact with the people of Southern California. The annual event is SoCal's biggest Japanese Family Festival.
Highlights of the day-long festival include Tokyo city cup GⅢ and other horse racing, Japanese traditional/pop culture, and various food/drink.
This year's special events and performances include a taiko (Japanese drum) performance by LA Taiko Ichiza, a cosplay contest with famous cosplayers as judges and J-pop live performances by Tune in Tokyo, along with entertainment for children.
Guests can indulge in Japanese favorites such as ramen, sushi, Takoyaki, and shaved ice.
The main entrance for this event is Holly Street at Huntington Drive.
