Why did the chicken cross the road? Kids can find the answer in this picture-book workshop. Inspired by a tiny baby chicken toy model, participants create an illustrated story about a freshly hatched baby chick’s grand adventure. 

The workshop is led by   Kim Adelman, a nonfiction author who wrote a book about chick flicks.

This program is free; reservations are encouraged. Drop-ins are welcome, if space allows. 

Parking is available under the museum for $7 cash flat rate on weekends.
