Free Turkey Giveaway in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving 2022

1. Senator Bradford's 2022 Drive Thru Boxed Food & Turkey Giveaway — Torrance

November 22, 2022 from 10am-12pm
Senator Steven Bradford is partnering with the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints and El Camino College Foundation for a turkey and boxed food giveaway for members of the 35th district. While supplies last, each car will receive a turkey or pork roast. The line starts forming at 9am and is located at the El Camino College Campus Parking Lot B. 

2. Azalea Regional Shopping Center Giveaway — South Gate

November 14, 2022 at 11am
As a thank you from the sprawling shopping center in South Gate, Azalea Regional Shopping Center is giving away vouchers for a free turkey. The giveaway is held at the shopping center on Sunday, November 13.

3. Victor Valley Rescue Mission's The Great Thanksgiving Event — Victorville

November 19, 2022 from 11am-2pm
Residents of the High Desert can register for The Great Thanksgiving Turkey Basket Drive-Thru Giveaway on Thursday, November 19 at 9am at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds. Pre-qualified families of two or more can register to attend this contactless private event. The Victor Valley Rescue Mission is giving away turkeys to families with proof of residency in Adelanto, Victorville, Barstow, Helendale, Oro Grande, or Apple Valley while High Desert Second Chance is simultaneously giving away turkeys to families from Hesperia, Lucerne, Oak Hills, Phelan, and Pinon Hills.

4. Lighthouse of Hope Foundation Inc. — Riverside

November 19, 2022 from 10am-2pm
For families in the Inland Empire, the Lighthouse of Hope Foundation Inc. is giving out over 100 turkeys along with food boxes, clothing, and music on November 19 from 10am-2pm. The organization also holds a free community Thanksgiving dinner on the afternoon of November 19 at 3pm.

5. La Alameda Thankful For You Turkey Giveaway — Walnut Park

November 14, 2022
​On November 14 head to Plaza La Alameda for this annual turkey giveaway, where every attendee receives a voucher for a free turkey.

6. District 62 Annual Drive-Thru Turkey Giveaway — Gardena

November 19, 2022
Get a free Thanksgiving turkey at District 62's annual drive-thru Turkey Giveaway, held this year at Gardena's Community Worship Center. Families drive up to the Community Worship Center; staff direct the way towards the turkeys.

7. City of Inglewood Turkey Giveaway — Inglewood

November 22, 2022 from 9am-12pm
The City of Inglewood distributes free turkeys in advance of Thanksgiving. The event serves 2,500 Inglewood residents, providing turkeys donated by Don Lee Farms, a bag of sides and additional items from Pepsi, Frito-Lay, and Snoop Dogg. This is a drive-thru event. No walk-ups allowed. Advance registration is required.

8. Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation — Central LA

For the last 16 years, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation has hosted an annual turkey giveaway at Dodger Stadium in Elysian Park. Details have yet to be announced for this year, check back here or contact the organization for updates. (The event usually takes place the Friday before Thanksgiving!)
