Whether sending valentines, celebrating Black history, or planning a Presidents Day weekend getaway, there is plenty to love about February!​ Don’t miss our favorite kid-friendly events and activities in DC this month.

This month is rich with activities celebrating Black culture and history, including the shows The Hula-Hoopin Queen and Kofi's African Village. If you're looking for a day that engages the entire family, head out to family days celebrating Black History Month at Woodlawn Manor and Presidents Day at the National Portrait Gallery.

For the kid who loves television and movie characters, there are two opportunities to engage with favorites at Paw Patrol Live! and the Baltimore Enchanted Princess Ball. And don't miss Mardi Gras on the Wharf or the annual George Washington Birthday Parade in Alexandria this month.
