Looking for the best things to do on Long Island this Memorial Day weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list for the holiday weekend.

Slip and slide into Memorial Day weekend at Splish Splash as it opens for the season. And, be sure to keep your eye on the sky as the Bethpage Air Show jets into town. If you're looking to let loose, The Big Bounce continues its run at Broadway Commons in Hicksville. You can also take in a play at the Engeman or Argyle theaters this weekend.

The super-popular Bethpage Air Show returns to Jones Beach in May, featuring performances by show-stopping headliners in aviation acrobatics on the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. With hundreds of thousands of visitors descending upon the FREE show, navigating this awesome summer kick-off event on May 27-28, 2023, can be challenging.
