Treat mom like a queen on her special day.

Mother's Day is a time for Philly kids to pause and celebrate all mom does for the family. One classic way to show her how much you love her is by taking mom to out to eat.

There are so many options in the city and in the 'burbs that sometimes it can be overwhelming to find a venue that will be fun for both mom and kids. So we have rounded up plenty of choices, including brunches, teas, and dinners. Many of these venues can even entertain the kiddos while making mom feel special.

If you're looking for something to do after eating, check out our event calendar and Spring Activites Guide for more great ways to celebrate mom.

Spring is in the air in Philly, and Easter is on the way. Many of the area's scenic railroads celebrate the season with excursions that include Easter fun.

We've rounded up several Easter-themed trains that are running special events for kids in the Philadelphia area and beyond. Some of these trains include an Easter egg hunt at the halfway stop, so be sure to bring along a basket. It is helpful to check whether the railroad provides a photographer and charges for a picture with the Easter Bunny or if you can bring your own camera.

Plan out your Easter train ride with this helpful list. Then extend Easter fun by reviewing our Spring Fun Guide, which include events throughout the Philadelphia area..
