Hayrides and Corn Mazes Near Atlanta – West and Northwest

1. B.J. Reese Orchards – Ellijay

Love apples, hayrides, and corn mazes? Head to B.J. Reese Orchards any fall weekend through October 30 for a fun-filled, farm adventure. The $26 Mega Fun ticket includes access to wagon rides, corn maze, pony rides, pig races, cow train, and other activities. You even get three apples to shoot in the apple cannon! If your family doesn’t want to participate in that many activities, other ticket options with fewer activities are available. With over 20 varieties of apples, you’ll want to go apple picking as well.

2. Big Springs Farms – Woodstock

The fall season at Big Springs Farms begins September 24 with the 12th annual Antique Tractor and Car Show. In addition to the pumpkin patch, enjoy the corn maze and hayride, $5 each. Other separately priced fall activities include a jumping pillow, bounce house, and gem mining every weekend through October 30.

3. Copper Creek Farm – Calhoun

Enjoy fall activities at Copper Creek Farms from September 24 through October 29. Weekend general admission is $20.56 (for ages 3 and up) and allows families to explore 25 farm activities. Start with the 8-acre corn maze (or kiddie maze for younger kids) followed by a hayride and animated chicken show. There's also a mechanical bull, steer roping, and the talking pumpkins. For evening adventures, upgrade for $8 more to the Haunted Farm with an evening hayride, flashlight maze, haunted maze, kids’ zipline, and a large bonfire. Watch fireworks every Friday and Saturday night in October.

4. Hillcrest Orchards - Ellijay

For a unique twist, explore the apple tree maze, where tree branches have grown along wires to create "walls." General admission for the Apple Pickin' Jubilee, held weekends through October 30, is $18 per person. In addition to the apple tree maze, admission includes wagon rides, mini golf, vortex tunnel, petting farm, cow train rides, and more activities. Your family will love the swimming pig races (we said that right), chicken chase, and other live shows. If time allows, purchase a one-half peck bag and go apple picking in the orchards.

5. Ole McDermitts Farm – Carrollton

Beginning September 24, see if your family escape Farmer Kenny’s Corn Maze at Ole McDermitts Farm. Not sure about a corn maze? Take the hayride around the maze and visit peacocks, chickens, goats, and other animals. The $14 admission ticket (cash only at the gate) also includes slides, rubber duck races, and playground structures. Bring extra cash for gem mining and purchasing a pumpkin from the patch.

6. Pettit Creek Farms – Cartersville

Pumpkin Fest runs September 17-October 30 at this 80-acre farm. Admission tickets are $15 (ages 13 and older) and $12 (ages 2 to 12). All tickets include scarecrow building and unlimited visits to the 2-acre corn maze, hayrides, ring toss, and petting zoo. Add-ons include giraffe feedings and camel rides, as well as bungee jumping, Aerial Adventure Course, and Canopy Zipline Tour for older children and teens. Although you can purchase tickets online or at the gate with cash or credit card, Pettit Creek Farms only accepts cash for add-ons and concessions.

7. Sleepy Hollow Farm – Powder Springs

Located near Atlanta, Sleepy Hollow Farm offers wagon rides, corn maze, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and multiple kids’ games September 23-November 5 (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). Tickets for a reserved two-hour time slot are $13 (ages 3 and up) and must be purchased online. The farm also offers an online discount of $12 on weekday mornings, which includes a mini pumpkin. If you have older kids, try an escape game adventure at the farm (booked separately through Escape Woods).

8. Still Family Farm – Powder Springs

Who says a fall maze must be made out of corn? Visit this 128-acre farm in Cobb County and wander through a colorful 5-acre zinnia maze perfect for younger kids. After taking a 25-minute narrated hayride tour, let the kids enjoy the slide, roly-poly tubes, tractor displays, pump duck races, and other farm activities. General admission tickets are $16 (ages 5 and up) and Still Family Farm is open on the weekends September 24-October 30. There is no charge to visit the pumpkin patch, but kids can paint a mini pumpkin for an additional $5.

9. Yahoo Farm – Jasper

From September 17 through October 30, visit Yahoo Farm for a hayride, corn maze, pony rides, corn cannon, gem mining, rubber duck races, and the pumpkin wagon and "hay bale" kiddie maze. Purchase activities separately or get an all-inclusive ticket for $25 (ages 3 and up). If you visit on Sundays, kids 8 and under can go on a FREE pumpkin hunt with the Pumpkin Bunny. Older kids and teens should visit on Saturday evenings in October for the haunted hayride for $13 and the cosmic corn maze for $8, while enjoying the marshmallow roast held until 10pm.

Corn Mazes and Hayrides Near Atlanta – Northeast and East

10. Buford Corn Maze and Haunted Forest – Buford

The name of this spot says it all! Wander this 5-acre corn maze running September 3-November 13. The $16 single ticket (purchased online or at the gate) includes the corn maze near Atlanta, unlimited hayrides, and Kid’s Corner Play Area, where kids can jump on popcorn pillows, ride slides, and meet alpacas. If you have kids ages 10 and older, purchase a combo ticket for $28, which includes the Haunted Forest, beginning September 24. If you anticipate repeat visits, season passes are also available.

11. Hillside Orchard Farms – Lakemont

Hillside Orchards offers a corn maze for $8 now through the end of October. Afterward, pick delicious apples, visit farm animals, enjoy the playground, and stop by the country store for jams, jellies, and ciders. Hillside hopes to resume the $2 hayride and the $4 train ride (both ages 3 and up) in October, depending on staffing availability.

12. Jaemor Farms – Alto

Bring the family to Jaemor Farms' Harvest Celebration from September 10 through November 6. For $15 (ages 3 and up), tackle the corn maze, take a hayride, and shoot apples from a cannon. Younger kids may prefer the mini corn maze, slide, petting zoo, tricycle races, and train rides. Moms may want to purchase the $20 All-Access Plus Flowers ticket that includes a souvenir cup filled with wildflowers (in season).

How about a date night? Sign up for the adult-only Night Out on the Farm on September 23. At $25 per person, this event includes the corn maze, hayrides, farm games, and pumpkin patch along with live music and food trucks.

13. Scottsdale Farms – Milton

At Scottsdale Farms, a corn maze, hayride, sunflower field, and games await kids from September 30 through October 30. Check the farm’s website as pricing is still being determined. During your visit, select the perfect pumpkin from the patch, check out the gift shop, and eat lunch at the on-site cafe.

14. Mitcham Farm – Oxford

From September 24 through October 30, a $15 general admission wristband for ages 3 and up allows you to "get lost" in the 7-acre Colonel Cob’s Corn Maze, take a hayride, shoot a corn cannon, ride a mechanical bull, enjoy the jump pad and slide, pet farm animals, and more! If that’s not enough, try the corn maze with only a flashlight on select Friday and Saturday nights. Don’t miss the pumpkin patch and purchase treats from the Market. Gem mining is available at an additional cost.

15. Uncle Shuck’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch – Dawsonville

If you’re looking for a large corn maze, Uncle Shuck’s 15-acre property offers almost four miles of "corn-fusing" twists and turns. Open September 10-November 13, the $15 (ages 5 and up) general admission ticket also includes wagon rides, a bonfire, kiddie maze, goat walk, tire mountain, jump pad, and corn cannon. Purchase the $25 combo ticket that includes the Dark Rows Haunted Corn Trail, offered Friday and Saturday evenings in October (flashlights aren’t allowed so parents must accompany children under age 12).

16. Warbington Farms – Cumming

Warbington Farms is a third-generation family farm hosting fall activities September 20-November 5. Tickets are $13.50 (ages 4 and up). Enjoy wagon rides, the corn maze, zinnia field, and the Fun Park (with corn crib, jumping pillow, slides, swings, and barnyard). Experience the Flashlight Corn Maze Challenge every Friday and Saturday night. Special events include Pumpkin Palooza on October 15, Magical Maze on October 22, and Halloween Egg Haunt on October 29. 

17. Washington Farms - Bogart

Purchase tickets online to visit Washington Farms, September 24-November 6. Tickets have an entry time, but no departure time. If the 6.5-acre corn maze sounds daunting, staff members are on site to provide clues and help. General admission tickets are $21.49 on weekends and $16.49 on weekdays (ages 2 and up); also includes wagon ride, ropes course, zipline, vortex tunnel, bounce house, and more activities. The zinnia field and pumpkin patch are free to enter. On select Fridays in October, the farm stays open until 10:30pm for fireworks.

Corn Mazes and Hayrides Near Atlanta – South

18. Callaway Gardens – Pine Mountain

Callaway Gardens hosting Pumpkins at Callaway, September 16-October 30. Stroll past thousands of carved pumpkins, visit the Pumpkin Tree, and escape the corn maze. At night, everything lights up for a fun, evening exploration. Kids love the Enchanted Pumpkin Forest with dancing lights and a huge pumpkin butterfly, as well as live performances, Mini Glow Golf, and more. Instead of hayrides, trolleys take guests to the corn maze and pumpkin patch. Tickets are $29.95 for adults and $24.95 for ages 3 to 11. Check the calendar for value nights.

19. Southern Belle Farm – McDonough

A favorite U-pick farm, Southern Belle Farms has families covered for fun, fall adventures September 17-November 6. Get lost in the 7-acre corn maze and take a hayride around the 330-acre farm. General admission (purchased online) also includes corn cannons, pig races, a cow train, and much more. For an extra fee, children can paint mini pumpkins or mine for gems. Stop by the Country Market to purchase apple cider donuts, honey, cider, and other treats. Ticket prices vary during the fall season, so check the farm’s website for updated information.

20. Yule Forest – Stockbridge

Explore a corn maze, take a hayride, and visit one of the state’s largest pumpkin patches at Yule Forest, AND watch an interactive dinosaur show, see a honeybee house, and learn about farming. Other activities include a train ride, petting zoo, 20-foot slide, pumpkin movie, and garden. Tickets are $14.95 (ages 2 and up) and must be purchased online before visiting any weekend in October. Food trucks and local vendors sell goods each weekend.

21. Burt’s Pumpkin Farm - Dawsonville

Burt’s Pumpkin Farm offers a scenic 2-mile hayride featuring a stream crossing, covered bridge, animated pumpkins, and a view of nearby Amicalola Falls. Tickets are $6.50 (ages 3 and up) and run September 1-October 30. You’ll also want to visit the pumpkin patch, stock up on fall decorations, and taste the pumpkin rolls in the country store.
