Why not search for eggs at a playground with a bouncy house and petting zoo, in an open field (with games, too), or even around an antique carousel? Ever had brunch with a bunny? Now you can!

This weekend is also the perfect time to see the tale of a mischievous rabbit and explore the fascinating world of STEM at this yearly science fest. Celebrate the holiday and soak up knowledge—all in one weekend!

Between the last-minute gift shopping and holiday get-togethers, parents may be on the hunt for additional family fun this weekend. Not to worry: The 2018 holiday season is still packed with activities. Enjoy a cozy candlelit evening of music and hearth fires, and create some last-minute presents for loved ones. Judge gingerbread house designs, watch a performance of The Nutcracker (by puppets!), and grab brunch with Santa before his magical night of gift giving. Or why not get some fresh air and go for a winter walk?

Whatever you choose to do, we here at Mommy Poppins wish you and your family a happy, healthy, and fun holiday. Merry Christmas!

A trip to the museum doesn’t need to be a “boring” excursion for your kiddos, or strictly refer to your family popping into an indoor space for some play time. Whether it's artwork featuring everyone's favorite honey loving bear or interactive challenges like dodging hanging pendulums, at least one of these half-dozen exhibits on display across greater Boston is sure to delight your kids this fall. They might even learn something (but you don't have to tell them that).
